There have been isolated reports of anaplastic large-cell lymphoma associated with silicone breast implants. The responsible implants are no longer produced. This complication has not been observed with the Motiva® implants we use. Another option is augmentation with your own fat tissue.
You can influence the healing process by quitting smoking before the surgery, which should continue after the procedure to prevent wound healing complications. For six weeks post-operation, avoid overhead activities.
Unfortunately, scars cannot be avoided entirely, but they are placed in such a way that they become barely noticeable later.
